Guaranteeing the stone's identity

Independent certification can complement Joyzanite's control. It is especially useful for important stones, unheated tanzanites or purchases intended for a collection.

Joyzanite control

Each stone is checked with a refractometer and microscope to confirm that it is natural tanzanite before publication.

Choice of laboratory

Depending on value, country, timing and dossier type, Joyzanite advises GIA or another laboratory recognized for colored gems.

Secure shipment

The stone is prepared for shipment to the laboratory. This step generally adds several weeks to the final delivery time.

Final report

The certificate completes the stone file: identity, gemological observations and useful information according to the chosen laboratory.

What the certificate guarantees

It provides an independent view of the gemological identity and certain observable characteristics of the stone. It strengthens the traceability of the dossier.

What it does not guarantee

It does not replace personal taste, does not promise financial appreciation and does not automatically turn an average stone into an exceptional one.

When to request it

For a high-value stone, an unheated stone, a future resale, insurance or a private collection requiring a complete dossier.

Impact on delivery

Laboratory submission adds time. The cart must therefore display a longer estimate when certification is selected.
